Are you a Broadcast Engineer with MediaProxy experience that can implement and deliver broadcast systems? This is an excellent opportunity to join an international broadcast services provider. Based in London, 3-4 days of remote work can be considered if you are able to go to the office as and when required. This is a 6 month extendable contract but our client may also be open to transferring you to a permanent position further down the line if that is what you are looking for but you can also extend your contract if you prefer.

Your reporting line:
Under the supervision of the project management team and with line management from our Professional Services Resource team, this position will contribute to project delivery. In order to guarantee effective communication regarding delivery-related issues and project transition into support, delivery engineers will also collaborate with our operational teams, third-party suppliers, and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
• Broadcast environment experience in a sizable, organised setting is needed.
• Technology Administration
• Be well-versed in the technical tools and systems that were given to you.
• Assist other expert staff members in implementing predetermined configuration changes or fixes.
• Ensure that technologies can be supported by providing effective tracking tools and detailed documentation.
• Contribute to the creation of new systems in your field of expertise.
• Carry out the project implementation duties that a project or technical manager has given you.
• Take charge of minor technological initiatives, such as system upgrades or hardware replacements for current systems.
Experience required:
• The capacity to employ and maintain formal knowledge management systems.
• Advantageous is previous exposure to GV automation and playout systems (Morpheus and ICE).
• An benefit is having knowledge of the Skyline Dataminer DMS programme.
• IP video (SMPTE 2022-6/2110) experience is a plus
• MediaProxy expertise is beneficial
• The capacity to organise tasks, set priorities, and inspire others to help meet goals.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to collaborate closely and effectively with groups of all sizes.
• IT and communication networks in relation to the broadcasting environment.
• Production and editing tools for audio and video.

• An in-depth knowledge of networking tools.
• The capacity to function well in a team environment while also being able to complete tasks on their own.
