About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and health of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of ServiceNow to ensure our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is up-to-date and provides valuable insights for optimizing IT service delivery.


Implement and manage ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB solutions with 8+ years of experience.
Possess in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM products like Discovery & Service Mapping.
Configure CI Identification & Reconciliation (IRE), CI Class Manager, CMDB 360/Multisource CMDB.
Implement the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) framework and align it to the CMDB.
Conduct horizontal and vertical discovery, including network and Azure Cloud discovery.
Document and troubleshoot CI relationship issues, seeking assistance when needed.
Map relationships between CIs, business services, and applications.
Implement bi-directional data flows for efficient discovery scheduling and real-time updates.
Track, document, and maintain service relationships and dependencies.
Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation for teams and processes.
Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts arising from different data sources.
Integrate ServiceNow with Azure, Infoblox, and other third-party tools using Service Graph Connectors and APIs.
Support the ITSM team with projects, integrations, and mid-server configurations.
Ensure discovery applications function correctly to integrate data and register new assets/CIs.
Stay up-to-date on ServiceNow best practices and relevant CMDB technologies.
Identify impacted CIs during incidents, report on them, and prepare remediation plans.


8+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB solutions.
Proven expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM products (Discovery & Service Mapping).
Experience with CI Identification & Reconciliation (IRE), CI Class Manager, CMDB 360/Multisource CMDB.
Understanding of the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) framework.
Experience with horizontal and vertical discovery, including network and Azure Cloud discovery.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points:

Experience with ServiceNow integrations using Service Graph Connectors and APIs (Azure, Infoblox, etc.).
Experience developing ServiceNow customizations and workflows.
ITIL v4 or similar service management framework knowledge.
