FPG are recruiting a contractor to join our client project. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Controller ideally with some experience on telecoms projects.
Role summary
- Reviewing project scopes and design packages to determine structural deliverables, support and supplementary services.
- Costing contractors work and other resources required in order to keep pace with fluctuating work-streams / meeting tight timescales.
- Reporting to the Management Team on the financial costing & progression of projects
- Actively work with Project Managers relating to contract variations.
- Measurement of quantities on sites - walkout and conducting joint measures with contractor
- Receiving and assessing applications for payment / Invoices
- The costing of variations during the works and the notification to the Management Team
- Ensuring project works/sites are built within budget without quality being compromised and conducting where possible post implementation reviews with the project teams to maximise any commercial - opportunity or advantage.
- Assisting in monitoring payments to contractors.
- Track stock usage against design bill of materials
