Title: Head of Data Product
Job Location: Dubai , UAE
Responsibilities:
1. Own and manage the data product roadmap, prioritizing features that support business goals and align with the department's strategy.
2. Understand and document data and analytics needs from business units, shaping the product roadmap accordingly.
3. Define the blueprint for the data lake, translating business needs into concrete deliverables like data marts.
4. Work backwards from desired reports, dashboards, and models to ensure the data lake is structured to support them.
5. Partner with the technology department to design data consumption patterns and get buy-in for delivering data products.
6. Define and refine how data is handled (ingestion, enrichment, consumption) to meet business needs efficiently.
7. Oversee the delivery of data products, ensuring they're delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an analytics or data product function, with a track record of delivering data-driven products that have positively impacted business performance, ideally in a BFSI environment
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Data Science).
• Must have experience with Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, DataRobot.
• Capable of influencing stakeholders across the organization to align with the data product vision and roadmap.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business needs in an efficient and effective manner.
• Strong Team management and leadership skills and experience of managing data driven products and projects.
