Are you an expert in Saviynt with a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions? Join a dynamic team in Cape Town, South Africa, as a Group IT Engineer, specializing in Identity Management. In this senior role, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and extension of our Saviynt IDAM/IGA solution, contributing to Group IT projects and providing third-level support in your area of expertise.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Identity Management Engineer, your primary focus will be on the operational and maintenance aspects of the IDAM/IGA system. You will monitor IT solutions within your domain, apply updates and patches, create documentation and procedures, and establish strong working relationships within the team and with other stakeholders. Your role involves interacting with staff and clients, creating dashboards and reports, and staying abreast of market trends to analyze potential improvements within your area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the operational functionality and maintenance of the IDAM/IGA system.
Monitor IT solutions, report, and troubleshoot problems as needed.
Apply regular updates and patches to maintain system security.
Create documentation, procedures, and policies related to your areas of responsibility.
Establish good working relationships with peers and other business actors.
Interact with staff/clients through various communication channels.
Create dashboards and reports for effective monitoring.
Stay informed about market trends and analyze potential improvements within your domain.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related area.
At least five years of equivalent work experience as a Saviynt expert.
Deep knowledge of Saviynt and IDAM/IGA solutions, MS Active Directory (on-premise and Azure AD), authentication/authorization systems, PAM, Saviynt workflows and connectors (interfaces to SAP), Single-Sign-On, user account/attribute management, zero trust, ITSM, Joiner/Mover/Leaver procedures, and cloud technology.
Experience working within international teams.
Strong team player with effective communication skills.
Ability to present technical ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective prioritization skills in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to conduct technical research and market analysis.
Good time- and self-management skills.
