First Point Group has an immediate start on offer for an EHS Advisor / H&S Manager with CDM / Construction Design Management experience. If you're looking for a new project to start in the next 3-4 weeks with an internationally reknown industry leader, then this is the opportunity for you.
Remote / home-working on a hybrid basis can be considered with occassional visits to the office.
You will be responsible in applying specialist knowledge in relation to CDM and Construction Design Regulations 2015. You will plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction phase.
You will influence how risks to health and safety are managed throughout a project.
The role holder will be expected to build and maintain credible working relationships with a network of internal and external stakeholders at all levels by making fact-based choices and acting quickly to affect them.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Regulation 5(1)a and other CDM Regulations
- Offer guidance on CDM regulations and pertinent EHS requirements.
- Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders fulfill their obligations and collaborate throughout the project.
- Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to eliminate any potential risks to anyone's health or safety.
- Carry out supplier audits and reviews in support of CDM design and principle contractor responsibilities.
- Encourage internal training sessions and toolbox lectures on pertinent CDM subjects, updates, and developing hazards that are pertinent to the company.
Experience:
- NEBOSH certificate
- High level understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM 2015) Regulations.
-Experience with internal and external auditing for ISO:14001/45001)
