As an LTE/5G Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing presales support, nominal plan creation, radio detail planning, RAN parameters planning, pre-launch, and post-launch quality assurance and optimization services for LTE/5G projects in collaboration with related stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Dimension the RAN and eNB network based on coverage, capacity, and quality requirements.
Design site configurations according to traffic requirements and equipment specifications.
Recommend and set specific RF parameters for site integration.
Analyze site performance post-integration through drive test or OSS measurements, identify problems, and recommend changes for resolution.
Define KPIs and performance reports for network monitoring.
Lead optimization efforts to enhance network quality by optimizing Nokia LTE/5G parameters and implementing physical changes.
Recommend and implement required features to improve network quality.
Define and monitor "Worst Objects" reports at eNB level, troubleshoot them by suggesting software or hardware changes.
Provide input on capacity, quality, and coverage for expansion phases.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree (Electrical/Telecommunication) or equivalent experience.
Over 5 years of experience in the Telecom Industry, with a minimum of 4 years in RF Planning & Optimization for LTE & 5G.
Knowledge and practice of LTE(+5G) RF Planning tools and OSS tools.
Proficient in measurement/analysis tools (TEMS, NEMO, XCAL/XCAP, or equivalent).
Knowledge and practice of Nokia RAN, eNB parameters, and counters.
Competence in future technologies LTE, MBB, 5G.
Good communication skills and solid analytical skills.
