Our client, a well-established telecommunications operator in Latin America, is seeking a visionary Director of Wholesale to lead and scale their $50M+ wholesale business. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital infrastructure across the region by driving strategic growth, optimizing high-value assets, and building global partnerships.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a growth-focused roadmap to scale services, optimize asset utilization, and unlock high-margin opportunities.


• Asset Monetization: Maximize the value of DWDM systems, CAM Terrestrial Rings, Subsea Systems, Bioceanic Corridors, MPLS networks, and dark fiber infrastructure.


• Market Expansion: Build strategic alliances with global carriers, ISPs, OTTs, and hyperscalers to expand revenue streams and strengthen market positioning.


• Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure infrastructure scalability and service continuity.


• Governance & Compliance: Implement robust governance frameworks aligned with industry standards (e.g., ITU, MEF) and corporate objectives.


• Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing, technically skilled team focused on innovation, accountability, and financial results.

?? Ideal Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).


• Experience: 10+ years in telecom or wholesale leadership, with a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure and international markets.


• Skills: Strategic thinking, financial acumen, technical expertise (DWDM, IP/MPLS, dark fiber), and strong leadership.
