Warehouse Manager
Location: Milpitas,California 95035 United States
Job Responsilities:
1. Daily Operations Management:
* Fully responsible for end-to-end operations at the West Coast warehouse, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound, and returns processing, ensuring 100% on-time and accurate completion of daily/weekly/monthly order tasks.
* Strictly implement inventory management systems, lead and supervise daily cycle counts and annual comprehensive inventory audits to ensure alignment between system (WMS) and physical stock, maintaining variance rates within industry standards.
* Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve space utilization and operational efficiency, particularly for the efficient storage and protection of special categories such as wedding dresses and gowns.
2. Team Building and Leadership:
* Recruit, train, manage, and motivate the warehouse team (including supervisors, operators, clerks, etc.), fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
* Set clear performance goals (KPIs) and conduct regular evaluations and feedback, responsible for team scheduling and capacity planning.
3. Customer Experience and Quality Control:
* Integrate the "customer-first" philosophy into warehouse operations, ensuring every gown shipped is beautifully packaged, accurately labeled, and undamaged, directly supporting Azazie's premium brand image and customer satisfaction.
* Establish and maintain strict quality control (QC) processes, conducting pre-shipment inspections for high-value gowns to significantly reduce customer complaints and return rates due to warehouse issues.
4. Cost and Vendor Management:
* Develop and manage the warehouse operations budget, continuously monitor and analyze operational costs (labor, consumables, equipment maintenance, etc.), and propose and implement cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing measures.
* Manage local logistics service providers (such as last-mile carriers, equipment maintenance vendors, etc.), conduct performance evaluations and contract negotiations to ensure optimal service quality and cost efficiency.
5. Systems, Safety, and Compliance:
* As the primary safety officer for the warehouse, strictly enforce local health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), organize regular safety training and drills, and ensure zero major safety incidents.
* Ensure warehouse operations comply with all local U.S. legal, tax, and customs (if applicable) requirements.
6. Strategy and Collaboration:
* Maintain close communication with supply chain, sales, and customer service teams, and proactively plan inventory and labor allocation based on sales forecasts and promotional plans.
Qualifications:
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Work Experience:
* At least 5 years of warehouse operations management experience in the U.S., including 3 years at a managerial level, with experience in B2C small-item warehouse management.
* Proficient in end-to-end warehouse management processes and practices, with deep understanding and hands-on experience with WMS systems.
* Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with basic data analysis tools.
* In-depth understanding of the U.S. logistics market, last-mile delivery rules, and warehouse-related laws and regulations.
* Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken), proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
