VP – Debt Advisory | Energy Transition (Renewables)

A leading energy transition–focused merchant banking firm is hiring a Vice President to support and lead a growing debt advisory platform across European renewable energy projects.

Role overview

• Lead execution of debt advisory mandates across bank debt, bonds, and private placements


• Structure and negotiate financing solutions with banks and debt funds


• Own financial modelling, credit analysis, and transaction execution


• Act as a senior client contact and manage multiple lenders in parallel


• Mentor junior team members and support origination over time

Candidate profile

• 8–10 years’ experience in debt advisory with strong renewables exposure


• Track record across loans, bonds, and private placements


• Excellent structuring, credit, and financial modelling skills


• Comfortable running transactions independently


• Experience managing junior staff


• Business fluency in a second European language preferred
