An industry-leading and rapidly expanding digital infrastructure platform is seeking an experienced VP / AVP Civil Architect to lead the architectural and civil design of next-generation data centre developments across Asia.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior architect with extensive data centre, mission-critical or hyperscale experience to play a key role in designing and delivering large-scale facilities that support cloud, AI, and enterprise customers

The Opportunity

As the VP Civil Architect, you will be responsible for the planning, design, coordination, and successful delivery of architectural and civil engineering aspects of mission-critical facilities. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, sustainability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and space planning for large-scale data centre developments.


• Develop and review design specifications, technical drawings, and BIM/Revit models.


• Coordinate with structural, MEP, ICT, and construction teams to deliver integrated facility designs.


• Support new-build, retrofit, and expansion projects across regional markets.


• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, fire safety requirements, and sustainability standards.


• Oversee contractor design submissions, materials reviews, and construction quality.


• Drive best practice in data centre design, including redundancy, security zoning, resilience, and future scalability.


• Manage external consultants, architects, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of architectural and civil design experience within mission-critical facilities, hyperscale environments, or high-tech infrastructure


• 5+ years of experience within data centres vertical


• Strong expertise in data centre architecture critical facilities and large-scale infrastructure projects


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, and related design platforms


• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, and interdisciplinary project coordination


• Experience working within APAC markets, particularly Singapore and wider regional environments


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Registered Architect (RA) or equivalent professional accreditation.


• LEED, Green Mark, or other sustainability certifications.


• Familiarity with Uptime Institute standards and Tier III / Tier IV facility requirements.
