About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and operationally strong Transition Manager to support customer onboarding and service mobilisation across a state-of-the-art data centre campus in Amsterdam. This role is central to ensuring new customers, services and infrastructure are successfully integrated into a live, mission-critical environment.
The Transition Manager will take ownership of mobilisation planning, operational readiness, documentation, risk management and stakeholder coordination, ensuring a seamless handover into BAU operations. You will collaborate closely with Facilities, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Commercial and Finance teams to deliver controlled, high-quality transitions for enterprise and hyperscale customers.

Key Responsibilities
Mobilisation Planning & Operational Readiness
- Lead end-to-end planning of all customer and service transitions.
- Ensure infrastructure, processes and resources are fully prepared prior to go-live.
- Conduct detailed contract, documentation and scope reviews.
Service Continuity & Operational Support
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to maintain 24/7 service continuity during mobilisation.
- Support operational governance, escalation readiness and resilience planning.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track mobilisation milestones and ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments.
- Provide accurate operational and commercial reporting to leadership.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance, Governance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, H&S and internal governance standards.
- Lead risk assessments, impact evaluations and post-transition reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, facilities, security and commercial teams.
- Maintain regular customer communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Support customer training and ensure commissioning/handover documentation is completed.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience delivering transitions, mobilisations or operational readiness programmes in a technical or critical environment.
- Strong organisational, analytical and project planning skills.
- Ability to work across multiple functions and communicate confidently with customers and internal departments.
- Experience using project management tools, dashboards and reporting systems.
- Understanding of risk, compliance, governance and operational control.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge and enhance existing processes.
