**Job Purpose**
This role serves as the primary coordination lead for end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre projects. The position is responsible for bridging client requirements with on-the-ground execution, ensuring that technical solutions are viable and that delivery milestones are achieved. The role oversees and monitors work performed by external vendors and subcontractors, maintaining accountability for delivery planning, schedule adherence, and final handover. This is a supervisory and coordination function only—the post-holder does not physically perform any installation, commissioning, or maintenance work.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **On-Site Delivery Coordination:** Oversee the arrival, staging, and installation of equipment and materials on site. Coordinate with vendor teams and subcontractors to plan lifting, installation, and testing activities, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated and any bottlenecks are escalated promptly. Attend site to conduct inspections, equipment walkdowns, and observe testing activities (in full compliance with site safety protocols), but does not personally carry out physical works.
- **Site Meeting Representation:** Represent the delivery function in daily and weekly site progress meetings, facilitating alignment across all stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and issue resolution.
- **Quality & Compliance Inspection:** Participate in the unpacking and inspection of critical equipment deliveries, verifying conformity to specifications and documenting any visible damage or discrepancies.
- **Commissioning Support:** Coordinate subcontractors and equipment vendors during the testing and commissioning phase, ensuring timely mobilization and schedule adherence. Oversee and observe testing activities performed by qualified specialists without personally executing them.
- **Documentation & Reporting:** Capture and log photographic evidence of any damage, defects, or non-conformances, ensuring proper reporting and escalation. Provide regular progress updates to the central PMO on milestones, risks, and critical issues.
- **Post-Project Review:** Collect and analyse challenges encountered during delivery; contribute to post-activity reviews and lessons-learned sessions to drive process improvement and reduce recurring issues across projects.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Experience:** 3+ years in data centre project delivery, with hands-on site coordination experience. Familiarity with the full project lifecycle from design through to on-site commissioning is essential. Experience in power generation/distribution, cooling systems, low-voltage controls, or modular construction is a strong advantage.
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
- **Technical Skills:** Working knowledge of CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Language:** Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable for managing relationships with regional suppliers and manufacturers.
- **Soft Skills:** Strong communicator and negotiator, capable of managing multiple vendors and diverse stakeholder groups. Analytical, logical, and collaborative in problem-solving.
- **Other:** Willing to be based on-site as needed and travel frequently across the region. Self-starter with a proactive mindset, resilient under pressure, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
