Technical Executive Assistant
Location: Johannesburg

You’ll work closely with the CEO, translating complex engineering projects into actionable strategies, tracking high-impact initiatives, and supporting decision-making at the highest level. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Liaison & Meeting Management
- Attend high-level technical briefings and board meetings alongside the CEO.
- Take detailed minutes capturing technical requirements, project milestones, and financial implications.
- Translate technical jargon into actionable executive summaries.
Engineering Follow-up & Project Tracking
- Act as the CEO’s "eyes and ears" regarding project progress.
- Follow up with department heads (Engineering, Production, R&D) to ensure deliverables are met.
- Review technical reports or proposals before they reach the CEO to ensure quality and accuracy.
Strategic Workflow Support
- Manage the CEO’s priority list, ensuring urgent technical issues are escalated and administrative bottlenecks cleared.
- Prepare presentations and data visualizations for the CEO, often involving engineering metrics or site performance data.
- Draft, circulate, and manage matters arising from meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or a strong Technical Diploma.
- 3–5 years in a technical environment.
- Previous experience as an assistant or in a junior project management role is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
