Job Title: Senior Project Engineer – Offshore
Department: Engineering
Division: Project Management
Reports To: Manager – Engineering
Location: Dubai - UAE Offshore / Yard (with required site visits)
Job Purpose
Lead the planning, design, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects for marine and offshore structures including FPSO, FSRU, MODU, and MOPU conversions. Responsible for ensuring projects meet technical, quality, safety, and scheduling standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams for offshore construction and conversion projects.
Oversee design deliverables, equipment selection, procurement, and integration engineering.
Lead vendor interface, technical reviews, and subcontractor supervision.
Monitor project schedules, man-hours, and budget adherence.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Participate in design reviews, audits, and project reporting.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Act as Project Engineering Manager when required.
Technical Competencies
Strong knowledge in marine/offshore engineering, piping systems, structural and EIT integration.
Familiar with oil & gas, LNG, cryogenic and regasification systems.
Skilled in project management, planning, and working with classification societies (e.g., IACS, SOLAS).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools.

Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering/EPC environments

Direct/indirect supervision of 50–100 Engineers & Draughtsmen
