First Point Group is recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer (RF | RAN | Radio) on behalf of a leading global telecommunications technology provider. The successful candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in network solutions delivery or technical pre-sales, deep understanding of 4G/5G Wireless technologies (Private Wireless/OpenRAN is a massive bonus), and strong customer presentation pre-sales experience.

In short, you will drive the technical sales process by aligning advanced network solutions with customer business and technical requirements across complex telecom and enterprise environments throughout EMEA.

Responsibilities
- Supporting the end-to-end technical sales cycle for network services and solutions across the EMEA region.
- Applying deep expertise in network technologies and industry best practices to develop scalable, high-quality technical proposals.
- Analysing customer environments to craft compelling value propositions and articulate clear competitive differentiation.
- Building awareness of network services and solutions within key accounts and strategic markets.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and delivery teams to position integrated, end-to-end solutions.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to executives, business sponsors, and subject matter experts.
- Monitoring industry trends, standards, customer initiatives, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Leading RFx responses, developing solution architectures, building proof-of-concepts and demonstrations, and delivering customer presentations.
- Leveraging in-depth product and services knowledge to align tailored solutions with specific client requirements.
Experience and skills
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years’ experience in the telecommunications or communications industry.
- 5+ years’ experience in network solutions delivery and/or technical pre-sales.
- Strong understanding of mobile network technologies including RAN, transport, and core network domains.
- Knowledge of fixed access technologies such as FTTx.
- Proven experience in customer requirements analysis, solution design, project planning, and deployment.
- Experience presenting at all levels within customer organisations, including C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Conversational German is desirable; additional languages are advantageous.
