This is a high-impact role where you will be instrumental in ensuring the long-term performance, safety, and efficiency of commercial and industrial solar PV systems. Key Responsibilities: 

• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, and balance of system components. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems, wiring, and monitoring equipment to reduce downtime and maximise system performance. 
• Perform thermal imaging and system performance testing to identify underperforming assets and take corrective action. 
• Lead on-site interventions, including system reconfiguration, repairs, and component replacements in line with health and safety regulations. 
• Monitor and analyse system data using remote monitoring platforms to anticipate potential issues and enhance energy production. 
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and reporting in accordance with industry and client standards. 
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all maintenance operations. 
• Stay informed about evolving technologies, regulations, and best practices within the solar industry. 

Candidate Profile: 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. 
• 2–5 years of experience in solar PV maintenance, preferably within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. 
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining large-scale solar PV installations. 
• Proficiency with solar monitoring platforms and performance analysis tools. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external contractors. 
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for sustainability and innovation. 
• A valid South African driving licence is required.
