As they continue to scale their capabilities in South Africa, they are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a talented, cross-disciplinary team of Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and UX/UI Designers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work closely with Developers, Designers, and Product Owners to build cutting-edge products across web and mobile, including interfaces for AI-powered and agentic features


• Take the technical lead on larger, more complex projects, including systems that integrate with ML/AI services and pipelines


• Drive low-level solution design workshops with fellow engineers during whiteboard sessions


• Contribute meaningfully to requirement workshops and scrum events with a view on the broader needs of the team


• Mentor, groom, and knowledge-share amongst team members: mentoring and growing talent is core to how this team operates


• Support Design, QA, and Ops teams through the various stages of the development lifecycle


• Develop enhancements and fix bugs on existing products


• Perform alpha testing on all developments

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Relevant software engineering degree 


• 4+ years development experience working with ASP.NET and C#


• 3+ years development experience working with .NET Core


• Strong understanding of fundamental design patterns and principles


• Experience in RESTful API development, including integrating with external or ML-serving APIs


• Advanced experience with modern JavaScript frameworks


• Client-side experience in HTML, CSS, and SASS


• Experience with MS SQL Server and source control (Git)


• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail


• Self-managed, with the ability to work independently on complex projects


• A collaborative mindset - able to constructively raise team performance and share knowledge


• Genuine curiosity and flexibility about learning new methodologies and technologies, including exposure to AI-adjacent systems
