The opportunity

A major hyperscale data centre campus is being delivered in Southern Finland, and the delivery organisation behind it is hiring a Site Delivery Manager to be its presence on the ground.

This is a big, standalone role. You will be the eyes, ears and voice of the delivery function on site, representing it across site meetings, inspections and vendor coordination, and carrying accountability for delivery planning, milestones and final delivery outcomes through to commissioning and handover.

What you'll be doing

You will coordinate vendors and subcontractors through the delivery phase, overseeing equipment arrival, inspections, walkdowns and damage documentation, and driving resolution of technical issues that affect delivery. You will oversee commissioning coordination from Level 2 through Level 5, working alongside engineering, the PMO and the wider project organisation to bring the campus through to successful handover. You will also have involvement at the early stages, supporting technically feasible and delivery-controllable solutions before equipment ever reaches site.

You will report into the project management office with structured milestone and progress reporting, but day to day you will operate with the autonomy that comes with being the senior delivery presence in country.

What we're looking for

An engineering-qualified delivery professional with experience in data centre, MEP or large-scale critical infrastructure projects. You understand commissioning, you know how to hold vendors and subcontractors to standard, and you are comfortable being accountable for outcomes rather than just activity. Knowledge of Finnish EHS regulations and site practice is a strong advantage, as is experience working with international or China-based suppliers and OEMs. Spoken Mandarin is a plus, not a requirement.

The practical details

Permanent position. Hybrid working model combining site presence with remote work, with flexibility on how that is structured around project phase. Compensation is genuinely open for the right person; this client is hiring for capability, not to a band.
