Key Responsibilities



Sales Strategy & Business Development




  • Identify and develop opportunities for maintenance contracts, SLAs, upgrades, and after-sales support services.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting new, existing, and legacy customer bases.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Drive new service business acquisition to meet and exceed sales targets.



Customer Relationship Management




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, end-users, and maintenance teams.

  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the customer journey.

  • Assess customer needs and provide tailored service solutions.

  • Ensure prompt and professional communication with customers.

  • Promote additional offerings such as preventative maintenance, extended warranties, and system upgrades.



Quotations, Tenders & Sales Administration




  • Prepare accurate quotations, service agreements, and tender submissions.

  • Maintain pricing structures, costing sheets, and tender documentation.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract closure.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to secure pricing support where required.



Product & Commercial Knowledge




  • Maintain knowledge of UPS systems, generators, batteries, cooling solutions, and related services.

  • Understand technical applications to provide value-driven service solutions.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.



Collaboration & General Duties




  • Support service-focused marketing campaigns and events.

  • Deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders.

  • Conduct lead research and identify new market opportunities.



Minimum Requirements




  • Matric (Grade 12) with a tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or a technical discipline.

  • 5–10 years’ experience in sales within the Electrical, Engineering, or Power Solutions industry.

  • Proven track record in selling maintenance contracts, SLAs, or after-sales support services.

  • Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and pipeline reporting.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

  • Technical knowledge of generators, UPS systems, batteries, or cooling systems will be advantageous.



Working Conditions




  • Office-based role with travel to client sites and service-related events as required.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours during tender deadlines, negotiations, or project implementation periods.
