Senior User Operations Consultant

Our client is a fast-growing global e-commerce platform, serving a diverse and dynamic international user base. The company focuses on building localized, data-driven user experiences across key overseas markets.



Responsibilities:




  • Develop and execute user engagement and CRM strategies based on overseas user behavior, key campaign moments, and on-site user preferences, with a focus on driving DAU, retention, and order conversion

  • Design, manage, and optimize user lifecycle operations across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and re-engagement

  • Own and monitor core user performance metrics (e.g. DAU/MAU, conversion rates, repeat purchase, retention), using data insights to continuously improve engagement effectiveness

  • Support the planning and execution of major commercial campaigns and seasonal initiatives, ensuring user operations are aligned with promotional calendars and revenue objectives

  • Work closely with product, UX, analytics, and marketing teams to identify opportunities for improving user experience and engagement through product and process enhancements

  • Provide localized market insights and proactively propose product or operational optimizations based on user feedback, behavior analysis, and competitive trends

  • Leverage local market knowledge to identify and engage potential partners, supporting organic traffic growth, brand collaborations, and ecosystem-level initiatives



 



Job Requirements:




  • 5+ years experience operating large-scale e-commerce platforms 

  • Proven experience driving user engagement and conversion in high-traffic marketplaces or omni-category platforms

  • Experience in leading regional or international e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or large omni-category retailers is highly preferred

  • Hands-on experience with advanced CRM segmentation, lifecycle triggers, and automated user journeys

  • Experience optimizing repeat purchase, re-activation, churn prevention, and cohort performance

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are essential.

  • Experience collaborating across product, tech, merchandising, and marketing teams

  • Proficiency in local language(s) is required; strong English communication skills are a must;

  • Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
