Senior Test Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Test Engineer you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products and systems. This is a hands-on, highly analytical position that blends technical testing expertise with creative problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

You will:

• Conduct detailed manual analyses and develop robust automation scripts to validate complex system logic.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product specialists to ensure every release meets the highest quality standards.
• Drive research and discovery initiatives to explore innovative testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Lead playbacks and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in JavaScript or Typescript (experience in other programming languages will also be considered).
• Strong manual testing background with the ability to translate test cases into automation scripts.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, particularly for complex credit or calculation-based logic.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology.
• 2–3 years of experience in QA testing within a business context.
• Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), impact analysis, and software quality assurance best practices

Good to Have:

• Experience with Playwright, K6, or Bruno
• Hands-on experience with Postman and Excel for API testing and data analysis.
