Supply Chain HRBP Director



Location: Zhongshan, China



Key Responsibilities



1. Strategic Alignment & Business Insight




  • Business Partnering:

    Act as a strategic partner to the Supply Chain organization. Deeply participate in annual strategic planning and quarterly business reviews to understand key business challenges (e.g., capacity constraints, inventory turnover, supplier management), and translate them into effective HR solutions.

  • Organizational Diagnostics:

    Conduct regular organizational health assessments across the supply chain function (procurement, production, quality control, and logistics). Identify structural or capability bottlenecks impacting efficiency and drive continuous organizational effectiveness improvement.

  • Cost Optimization & Productivity Enhancement:

    Support business leaders in achieving cost-reduction and efficiency targets by optimizing workforce structure and improving labor productivity.





2. Talent Pipeline & Organizational Capability




  • Senior and Critical Talent Acquisition:

    Take ownership of hard-to-fill and mission-critical roles. Build and maintain a talent map within the supply chain industry to ensure timely and high-quality talent placement.

  • Talent Review & Succession Planning:

    Lead annual talent reviews for the Supply Chain function. Identify high-potential employees and design succession plans for key roles to ensure leadership continuity.





3. Organizational Transformation & Culture




  • Process Optimization & Change Management:

    Partner with business leaders to promote supply chain process standardization and digitalization. Provide comprehensive support during organizational restructuring, including workforce planning, communication, and cultural integration.

  • Culture Implementation:

    Embed corporate values and culture within the Supply Chain organization to enhance cross-functional collaboration and execution efficiency.

  • Incentive & Motivation Mechanisms:

    Design and implement differentiated incentive schemes tailored to various supply chain functions (e.g., piece-rate systems for production, cost-saving incentives for procurement) to drive performance and engagement.





4. Employee Relations & Risk Management




  • Proactively prevent and manage labor relations issues common in supply chain environments. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, particularly across factory and warehouse operations.

  • Establish effective employee communication channels, enhance frontline leadership capability, and foster a fair, transparent, and inclusive work environment.





Qualifications



Education




  • Bachelor’s degree or above (full-time).

  • Majors in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Apparel Engineering, or Supply Chain Management are preferred.



Experience




  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years leading or independently supporting supply chain / manufacturing functions as an HRBP.

  • Industry Background (Required):

    Apparel & textile, cross-border e-commerce, or large-scale manufacturing.

    Experience with fast turnaround / small-batch flexible production models is a strong advantage.

  • Business Acumen:

    Ability to understand and interpret supply chain financial metrics (e.g., gross margin, inventory turnover days) and influence business decisions through HR insights.

  • Resilience & Emotional Intelligence:

    Highly self-driven, resilient under pressure, and capable of operating effectively in fast-changing environments. Strong cross-level communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills are essential.
