Our client, leading data center developer and operator, is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Commissioning (Cx) to lead the end-to-end commissioning of cutting-edge hyperscale data centers across the region.

About the Role

As the Senior Director of Commissioning, you will own the full lifecycle of commissioning for large-scale hyperscale data center projects—covering MEP, electrical, cooling, controls, and mission-critical IT systems. You will ensure every system performs to the highest global standards and deliver fully validated, reliable, and operational-ready data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning strategy, execution, and validation for hyperscale data center environments


• Oversee pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing (IST)


• Manage FAT, SAT, load testing, redundancy validation, and performance verification


• Ensure compliance with Tier standards, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, and global mission-critical frameworks


• Drive risk mitigation, reliability engineering, and root-cause analysis


• Partner with design, construction, operations, and client teams to ensure seamless go-live


• Implement digital commissioning tools including BIM, digital twins, analytics, and dashboards

Experience Required

• 20+ years in mission-critical commissioning, preferably hyperscale data centers


• Proven leadership in large-scale, high-availability facilities


• Deep knowledge of MEP, critical cooling, power distribution, and automation systems


• Expertise in IST, FAT, SAT, load bank testing, resilience and redundancy systems


• Familiarity with global data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA)


• Strong cross-functional leadership and operational readiness experience


• Advantage: experience with BIM, digital twins, and AI-driven commissioning tools
