### Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished **Senior Commissioning Manager** to lead and oversee the commissioning function across complex data center construction projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a focus on quality, risk management, and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure from design through testing and handover.

### Key Responsibilities

**Strategic Leadership**

- Lead commissioning strategy and execution for multiple concurrent or large-scale data center projects

- Standardize commissioning processes, tools, and best practices across the project portfolio

- Act as the senior technical authority for all commissioning activities

- Engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders at senior levels to align expectations

**Team Management**

- Oversee commissioning teams, third-party agents, OEMs, and contractors throughout the commissioning lifecycle

- Manage and mentor a team of Commissioning Managers, Engineers, and Technicians

- Allocate resources effectively across multiple project sites

- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of commissioning personnel

**Project & Quality Oversight**

- Review and approve commissioning plans, schedules, and protocols

- Establish KPIs to ensure delivery meets design intent, performance, and reliability requirements

- Lead risk assessments and ensure mitigation plans for high-impact systems

- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements

**Testing & Handover**

- Lead execution and review of:

  - Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

  - Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

  - Integrated Systems Testing (IST)

- Oversee commissioning documentation, reports, and turnover packages

- Ensure smooth handover to operations teams and facilitate knowledge transfer

**Systems Expertise**

Oversee commissioning of critical systems including:

- **Electrical:** UPS systems, MV/LV Switchgear, Generators, PDUs, ATS/STS

- **Mechanical:** Chillers, CRAHs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, HVAC Controls

- **Controls:** BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Detection & Suppression

- **Other Systems:** Life safety, structured cabling

### Qualifications & Requirements

**Education**

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline

**Experience**

- 10–15+ years in commissioning or data center delivery

- 5+ years in a leadership or multi-project management role

- Proven track record leading large-scale commissioning for hyperscale or enterprise data centers

**Preferred Certifications**

- Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP)

- Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP)

- Project Management Professional (PMP)

- Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer or Specialist

- LEED AP or equivalent
