Job Title: Salesforce Developer



Location: Remote-first (UK). Candidates able to attend the Magor office approximately once per week are highly desirable. Attendance onsite in Magor is required for the initial 3–4 days for onboarding and team integration.



Contract Length: 6 months (initial term, with potential extension)



 



Role Overview



We are seeking five experienced Salesforce Developers to join a fast-paced, collaborative Agile team. This position focuses on designing, building, and optimising robust Salesforce solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.



You will play a key role in delivering both declarative configurations and custom development, supporting API integrations, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to automated testing strategies. The role also involves integrating Salesforce with finance-related platforms, including invoicing and expense management systems, while helping to develop reusable assets and service capabilities for broader organisational use.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using both configuration and custom Apex development.

  • Design and implement secure integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.

  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, supporting DevOps best practices.

  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure solution quality and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver incremental value.

  • Support the creation of modular, reusable components and scalable service offerings.

  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing across distributed teams.



Essential Skills & Experience




  • Demonstrated experience working as a Salesforce Developer in a commercial or enterprise setting.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce configuration (Flows, validation rules, process automation) and Apex programming.

  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using RESTful and/or SOAP-based services.

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and associated tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote and hybrid teams.



Desirable Experience & Certifications




  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II certification.

  • Experience working with Field Service Lightning (FSL).

  • Background in integrating Salesforce with finance, billing, or expense platforms.

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
