Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and closing large-scale data centre deals. This role requires deep knowledge of data centre operations, strong enterprise/hyperscale engagement skills, and the ability to build long-term, strategic customer relationships
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for colocation, data centre space, and power services.
- Identify new business opportunities across large-scale businesses, multinational and global enterprises.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with global and regional targets.
- Drive full-cycle sales: prospecting → pitching → pricing → proposal → contract negotiation → closing.
- Present compelling proposals, pricing models, and technical-commercial solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships with foreign enterprise clients, including U.S. hyperscalers and international banks.
- Conduct market and competitor research to understand customer needs, pricing movements, and industry trends.
- Gather customer insights to help refine product offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive revenue.
- Mentor junior members of the sales team where required.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of direct data centre sales experience, specifically selling space and power.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with a data centre developer/operator.
- Experience selling to tech companies, global financial institutions, or cloud providers.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and understanding of data centre SLAs, capacity planning, and technical fundamentals.
- Native-level English fluency (written & spoken).
- Based in Hong Kong (or willing to relocate).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, globally distributed environment.
