First Point Group is recruiting for a Sales Director (Individual Contributor & 100% hunter with a history of winning new business with German Telecom Operators (Deutsche Telekom / Telefonica Germany etc.). The successful candidate must have sold SaaS / Software Solutions / Conversational AI / Gen-AI Solutions.
Based in the UK, this is 100% work from home with travel to Germany to meet prospects.

With more than two decades of experience, the company supports leading mobile network operators and service providers across Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America, with software deployed commercially in 40+ countries.
The organisation develops advanced, carrier-grade solutions such as - Agentic AI and Conversational Automation platforms, Messaging, Voice & Video, 5G-enabled applications, value-added services, core telecom platforms, IPTV and Fintech.
The company operates internationally and is now executing a new phase of growth focused on AI-driven customer experience, network automation, and intelligent virtual agents for telecom operators and Enterprise companies.
To support this expansion, we are hiring Sales Directors / Business Development Directors to drive new logo acquisition, enterprise deal closure, and recurring revenue growth, with a particular focus on Agent AI solutions for Telecom and Enterprise environments.
This role suits a high-energy, hunter-led sales professional motivated to win in a highly competitive global telecom and AI software market and to create tangible customer impact.
- You will be selling high-value, differentiated software platforms with clear unique value propositions, including:
- Agentic AI and Conversational AI platforms enabling telecom operators / enterprise companies to deploy intelligent virtual agents across customer care, sales, network operations, and self-service
- AI-driven automation solutions that reduce OPEX, improve CX, and accelerate digital transformation
- There is significant scope to build territory, open strategic accounts, and grow long-term recurring revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to deal closure, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Drive new customer acquisition, with a strong emphasis on Agent AI / Conversational AI solutions within telecom operators
- Engage senior stakeholders (CX, Digital, IT, Network, and Innovation leaders) to position AI-driven automation as a strategic enabler
- Arrange and lead customer meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's AI platforms, telecom software portfolio, and use cases
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline, forecasting accurately and reporting on sales activity
- Create long-term value by expanding accounts and generating recurring and upsell business
Experience & Profile
- A minimum of 5+ years of active sales experience within the telecom software, SaaS, or AI solutions market - MANDATORY.
- Experience selling AI platforms, conversational AI, automation, CX, or digital transformation solutions - BONUS
- A proven track record of hunting, opening new accounts, and closing complex deals
- Strong existing relationships with decision-makers inside mobile operators or large telecom service providers in Germany such as Deutsche Telekom / Telefonica Germany etc.
- A consultative sales mindset, able to articulate business value, ROI, and transformation outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A disciplined, structured approach to sales and pipeline management
