First Point Group is recruiting for a Sales Director (Telecom Roaming & SaaS Solutions) on behalf of a and global technology company. The successful candidate will have previous exposure of telecom / roaming environments, a proven track record in software or carrier sales, and a history of winning new business with any telecom operators across the world.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a high-impact commercial role focused on driving strategic growth across key telecom operator accounts globally. As a Sales Director, you will own and execute the territory strategy, identifying new revenue opportunities while expanding existing client relationships through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling of advanced telecom solutions.
You will play a critical role in shaping commercial direction, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable business growth.
This role offers a strong blend of autonomy, strategic influence, and access to a highly specialised telecom market, making it ideal for a commercially driven sales leader looking to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute territory sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within telecom operators
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, including renewals and upselling
- Develop and implement strategic sales and account plans
- Accurately forecast sales performance and pipeline progression
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics
- Build strong internal relationships across product, delivery, and leadership teams
- Lead contract negotiations with customer procurement teams
- Collaborate with partners to drive lead generation and revenue growth
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong background in telecoms, particularly roaming and operator environments
- Proven success in software sales, carrier sales, or telecom product environments
- Deep understanding of roaming wholesale processes, data clearing, and financial clearing
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and win new business
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and forecasting capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (Spanish advantageous)

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
