Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and develop sales opportunities for turnkey power solutions, including UPS, generators, batteries, rectifiers, cooling systems, distribution boards, rPDUs, and rental services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, facility managers, and technical personnel.
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders and proposals, manage clarification meetings, and lead negotiations.
- Develop and deliver professional presentations on integrated power solutions and capabilities.
Customer Relationship & Account Management
- Maintain a structured sales strategy in the CRM system, focusing on new customer acquisition while managing existing accounts.
- Own the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring timely and clear communication throughout the sales and implementation process.
- Respond to urgent customer issues outside regular business hours, as needed.
- Log all sales activities, customer interactions, and project data in the CRM system.
- Gather competitive intelligence to strategically position solutions.
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and order projections.
- Support market analysis, surveys, and intelligence gathering to inform business strategy.
- Track performance against sales targets and demonstrate initiative in achieving goals.
Product & Technical Knowledge
- Maintain expert knowledge of secure power products and data centre infrastructure.
- Apply understanding of product applications to recommend optimal configurations.
- Participate in technical evaluations with the support team to ensure solution accuracy.
Professional Development
- Pursue ongoing personal and professional development through training and knowledge sharing within the sales team.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in power solutions, data centre infrastructure, or related technical fields.
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma is advantageous.
- Proven track record in selling UPS, generators, batteries, cooling systems, or related power products.
- Experience preparing tenders, proposals, and leading contract negotiations.
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate product specifications and applications.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites and events as needed.
