RF Optimization Engineer / VoLTE - LTE - Central America

We are seeking an experienced Sr.  RF Optimization Engineer with expertise in Ericsson VoLTE, LTE/ 5G networks to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing radio network performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving continuous improvements in coverage, capacity, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform 5G NR and LTE network optimization using Ericsson tools and methodologies.

Analyze KPIs, drive tests, and network statistics to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Conduct parameter tuning, feature activation, and troubleshooting for Ericsson RAN equipment.

Collaborate with planning teams to ensure optimal frequency planning and interference management.

Support new site integration and cluster optimization for 5G rollouts.

Prepare and present performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with vendor guidelines and operator standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in RF optimization for VoLTE, LTE/5G networks.

Hands-on experience with Ericsson OSS, ENM, and optimization tools.

Strong knowledge of 5G NR architecture, parameters, and features.

Proficiency in drive test analysis tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
