Quality – Electrical Works Inspector

Are you a seasoned Quality Electrical Works Inspector with deep technical expertise and looking to secure a new contract opportunity?

My client based in Portugal, Cadaval and Rio Maior, Portugal (approx. 1 hour from Lisbon) is looking to secure a Quality Electrical Works Inspector. Starting September 2025 for an 18 month (Full time contract assignment).

You will be supporting the on-site construction monitoring of a 100 MWp solar photovoltaic project. This role will be fully focused (100% allocation) on the quality assurance and inspection of all electrical works throughout the 18-month construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day quality inspections on all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, applicable standards, and health & safety requirements.


• Monitor and report on the execution quality of:


• Trenches and electrical cabling


• Inverters, protection systems & transformers


• PV modules and electrical connections


• Substation electrical works


• SCADA systems, meteorological stations & communications infrastructure


• Overhead line (OHL) cabling


• CCTV and security systems


• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspections, including non-conformities and follow-up on corrective actions.
