Project QHSE Officer - US
We are seeking a Project QHSE Officer to join the on-site team for an offshore project. The role focuses on fostering a healthy and safe work environment, promoting best practices, and encouraging a strong culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) compliance across all project operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
QHSE reporting and KPI tracking — Communicate with project management and vessel teams.
On-site safety engagement — Participate in meetings and toolbox talks.
Incident and non-conformity investigations — Identify root causes and support corrective actions.
Workforce involvement — Encourage active participation in HSE initiatives and campaigns.
Site inspections — Conduct HSE audits with proper reporting, communication, and follow-up.
Observation Card management — Oversee Safety Hazard Observation Cards onboard.
Technical Requirements:
Provide (technical) QHSE support to the team onboard.
Ensure personnel are using the latest versions of relevant project documentation (e.g., PQMP, PHSEMP, ITP, MST, RA).
Experience in Pull-in operations and T&T (Testing and Termination) is an advantage.
Non-Technical Requirements:
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Certifications & Qualifications:
Degree or Certificate in Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management or equivalent preferred; NEBOSH IGC or equivalent required at minimum).
Valid GWO Basic Safety, HUET+CA-EBS, and Bi-Deltoid certifications.
Offshore Medical Certificate.
Additional Information:
For projects located offshore in the USA, possession of a B1 Offshore Special Category (Wind) Visa is a plus.
