We're partnering with a leading global technology distributor to identify an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to join their growing cybersecurity practice in South Africa.

What You'll Be Doing

As a trusted technical advisor, you'll support enterprise customers and channel partners throughout the entire solution lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing end-to-end cybersecurity solutions and reference architectures.


• Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations and customer workshops.


• Leading Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical validations.


• Developing solution sizing and Bills of Materials (BOMs).


• Providing technical input into RFPs, RFIs and solution proposals.


• Supporting the sales team throughout the deal cycle to ensure successful outcomes.


• Positioning professional services, implementation and ongoing support offerings.


• Delivering technical enablement and training to channel partners.


• Understanding customer business challenges and recommending the most appropriate cybersecurity solutions.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and building trusted relationships with customers and partners.

You'll ideally have experience across several of the following technologies:

• SIEM platforms (implementation and presales)


• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)


• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)


• Network Security


• Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments and workflows

Experience Required

• 6+ years within cybersecurity.


• Minimum 3 years in a dedicated Cybersecurity Presales Engineer role.


• Minimum 3 years in Professional Services, Consulting or Implementation.


• Experience supporting enterprise customers and channel partners.


• Strong solution design and technical presentation skills.

Advantageous

You'll stand out if you hold vendor certifications or recognised cybersecurity certifications across SIEM, endpoint security, networking or cloud security technologies.
