Overview



We are looking for a skilled Packet Core Integrator with strong expertise in CMG, CMM, and/or NRD to support end-to-end delivery of Packet Core solutions. This role involves deployment, integration, testing, and lifecycle support of Packet Core nodes in a fully remote environment.



This is a contract opportunity for professionals based in Europe who are comfortable working across distributed teams and complex telecom environments.



 



Key Responsibilities




  • Deliver Packet Core technical solutions in line with defined Low-Level Design (LLD)

  • Create and validate instantiation templates and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) based on LLD and data fill sheets

  • Perform onboarding, deployment, integration, and configuration of Packet Core nodes

  • Execute system and functional ATP test cases and document all related artifacts

  • Troubleshoot issues across deployment, integration, and testing phases; coordinate with care teams, customer teams, and TPM

  • Raise and manage trouble tickets through internal tools (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce)

  • Support migration of Packet Core services

  • Assist in delivery-to-care handover processes

  • Conduct feature activation testing

  • Prepare MOPs and artifacts for software upgrades

  • Perform lab testing for software upgrades and develop “golden MOPs”

  • Execute software upgrades of Packet Core nodes

  • Provide 4-eye support and post-upgrade assistance, including emergency collaboration with care/4LS teams

  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and support knowledge-sharing initiatives

  • Capture lessons learned and document them in internal tools

  • Support internal team processes, including JIRA workflows

  • Provide L2 support where explicitly required

  • Coordinate certification development for Packet Core nodes with relevant teams



 



Required Skills & Experience




  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Packet Core environments

  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following:

  • CMG

  • CMM

  • NRD

  • Proven experience in deployment, integration, and configuration of Packet Core nodes

  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies (ATP, system/functional testing)

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting in telecom environments

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA and Salesforce

  • Experience with software upgrade processes, including lab validation

  • Strong documentation and communication skills
