Position Overview
We are looking for two experienced Senior Online Surveyors to support survey operations aboard offshore vessels. These roles involve executing and overseeing advanced online survey and positioning activities during offshore campaigns, each with a defined rotation schedule.
Rotation Schedules
Each contractor will be allocated a separate schedule:
Contractor 1:
- 25th August – 8th October 2025
- 19th November – 24th December 2025
Contractor 2:
- 8th October – 19th November 2025
- 24th December 2025 – 28th January 2026
Note: Flexibility of a few days on either side may be required for operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
- Conduct online survey operations aboard offshore vessels.
- Monitor and record data from positioning systems and survey sensors.
- Perform routine calibrations and support daily technical documentation.
- Assist in generating as-built survey deliverables.
- Report directly to the onboard Party Chief Surveyor.
Secondary Duties:
- Contribute to system troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Support cross-functional offshore teams in maintaining safe operations.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in marine or offshore survey roles.
- Proficient in hydrographic survey methods and survey-grade equipment.
- Experience with navigation, multibeam systems, and subsea acoustic positioning tools.
- Familiarity with software such as NaviPac, NaviScan, or QINSy is advantageous.

Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
- Eligible to work offshore (appropriate visa/work permit where required).

- Full GWO
- VCA
- BOSIET
- HUET
- Shoulder Measurement
- Chester Step Test
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
Eligibility Requirement:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the EU without the need for visa sponsorship, as this project does not support permit or visa processing.
