Network Administrator

First Point Group is supporting a leading UAE Government client in hiring an experienced Network Administrator to support critical infrastructure operations and enterprise network environments. Role Overview

You will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and operational support of enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong technical expertise in network operations, incident management, monitoring, documentation, and change support within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure


• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity


• Support incident identification, troubleshooting, and resolution


• Perform configuration management and change implementation activities


• Coordinate maintenance and operational support activities


• Ensure network security best practices are followed


• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures


• Prepare monthly operational and performance reports


• Support approved changes, maintenance windows, and emergency activities


• Participate in after-hours and weekend support when required

Requirements

• 8+ years of network administration or network engineering experience


• Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies


• Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix


• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPN, and network security


• Experience supporting large enterprise, government, telecom, or data center environments


• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments


• Experience in incident management, change management, and operational support


• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
