Mechanical Estimator - Data Centre Construction | Dublin

I am currently partnered with one of Europe's leading data centre delivery specialists, who are looking to add a Mechanical Estimator to their growing estimation team at their Dublin head office.

This business has established itself as one of the most trusted names in the European data centre construction market, delivering turnkey projects from design through to construction and commissioning across multiple countries. With a strong pipeline of secured projects, this is a genuine opportunity to join a market leader at a time of continued growth.

The role:

You will prepare mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications, manage quantities and pricing documents, and analyse subcontractor and supplier bids from across Ireland and Europe. You will present estimates to senior leadership, help maintain the cost database, and work closely with the CSA and Electrical estimating teams. There is also scope to mentor junior team members as the department grows.

What they are looking for:

• 4+ years' experience in a mechanical capacity, with an estimating or quantity surveying background


• Proficiency in Excel and at least one recognised QS BQ software package such as Buildsoft or CostX


• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify project risk


• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts would be a bonus
