FPG is representing a Tier-1 Systems Integration firm recognized for spearheading some of the UAE's most high-profile Digital Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cybersecurity initiatives.
Job Summary:
This role focuses on overseeing the seamless delivery and post-implementation support of infrastructure, security, and middleware technology projects. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing complex IT environments, leading technical teams, and driving continuous service improvement across enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure, security, and integration projects across multiple vendors (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle)
- Ensure project delivery meets scope, timelines, SLAs, and quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing cross-functional teams spanning infrastructure, middleware, and cybersecurity domains
- Define KPIs, track team performance, and drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with OEM vendors, aligning delivery with their evolving product capabilities and leveraging their support channels
- Identify emerging technologies through OEM collaboration and drive internal enablement and adoption
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and tool implementation to improve service delivery efficiency and scalability
- Maintain cost control through effective resource planning, budget ownership, and P&L accountability
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical delivery and support issues, ensuring swift resolution
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, customer contracts, and regulatory frameworks
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or operations delivery
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-vendor technology projects
- Strong experience in managing the Delivery & Support squads or multi layer teams
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise service delivery standards
- Strong experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and vendor relationships
- Hands-on experience with technologies from major OEMs such as Cisco, IBM, Red Hat, Microsoft, or Fortinet
- Demonstrated ability to optimize delivery processes, implement automation, and drive operational improvements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, resources, and profitability
- UAE market experience preferred; regional knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
