An internationally recognised biotechnology company is expanding its commercial team across Europe and is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth throughout the Nordic region.

The Opportunity
As the Key Account Manager for the Nordic region, you will take ownership of a well-established territory while identifying new business opportunities across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland. This is a consultative, customer-facing role where you'll engage directly with researchers, laboratory managers, procurement teams, and industry professionals, helping them identify the right solutions for their research and development needs.
You'll enjoy the autonomy of managing your own territory while being supported by an experienced international commercial and technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow strategic customer relationships across the Nordic region.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within academia, biotechnology, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions.
- Provide technical product support and scientific consultation to customers.
- Deliver product presentations, seminars, and scientific training sessions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Collaborate closely with international colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and commercial success.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree (or higher) in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related life sciences discipline.
- A PhD would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Previous experience in life sciences, bio-reagent, laboratory, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable.
- Strong scientific understanding with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to customers.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel throughout the Nordic region as required.
