Overview

We are seeking an experienced IMS Engineer to support technical solution delivery across IMS platforms, including NTAS, MSS/MGW, and/or MRF/CFX. This is a fully remote contract role, requiring candidates to be located within Europe.

You will play a key role in deployment, integration, testing, and support of IMS solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver IMS technical solutions in alignment with defined Low-Level Design (LLD)


• Generate and validate instantiation templates and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) based on LLD and data sheets


• Lead onboarding and deployment activities for NTAS, MSS/MGW, and/or MRF/CFX platforms


• Execute system and functional ATP test cases and document all related artifacts


• Troubleshoot deployment, integration, and testing issues; coordinate with care teams, customer teams, and TPM


• Raise and manage trouble tickets via internal systems (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce)


• Support IMS services migration activities


• Assist in delivery-to-care handover processes


• Perform feature activation testing


• Prepare MOPs and artifacts for software upgrades


• Conduct lab testing for software upgrades and develop “golden MOPs”


• Provide 4-eye support and post-upgrade assistance, including emergency response collaboration with care/4LS teams


• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives


• Capture lessons learned and document them in internal tools


• Support internal processes and workflows (e.g., JIRA)


• Provide L2 support where explicitly required


• Coordinate SBC certification development with relevant teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in IMS environments


• Strong expertise in one or more of the following:


• NTAS


• MSS/MGW


• MRF/CFX


• Hands-on experience with deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of IMS systems


• Familiarity with testing methodologies (ATP, functional/system testing)


• Experience with ticketing tools such as JIRA and Salesforce


• Understanding of software upgrade processes and lab validation


• Strong documentation and communication skills

Language Requirements

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
