Overview:



A well-established and innovative company in the civil construction sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join their Infrastructure division. This team is dedicated to executing complex and sustainable infrastructure projects across the region.



 



Role Summary:



The HR Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Business Partner and operational teams with a broad range of administrative HR tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR operations and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Handle personnel file management, including contracts, extensions, and changes

  • Administer leave, absence, and illness records using internal HR systems

  • Prepare onboarding and offboarding documentation

  • Assist in the monthly payroll process alongside the payroll team

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HR system (Workday)

  • Track employee training and certificate compliance

  • Serve as the administrative HR contact for employees

  • Act as the primary HR administrative point of contact for Dutch-speaking colleagues in the Infrastructure division



 



Candidate Profile:




  • Degree in Human Resources, Office Management, or equivalent through experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an administrative HR role

  • Highly accurate, structured, and maintains confidentiality

  • Experience using HR systems (knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

  • Fluent in Dutch, with solid basic English communication skills

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work independently
