Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Hardware System Architect to lead the design and development of advanced hardware platforms for secure communication and high-performance embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in system-level hardware architecture, high-speed digital design, and FPGA/DSP-based platforms, along with the ability to drive complex projects from concept through validation and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead end-to-end hardware architecture for complex, multi-board embedded systems.


• Select and integrate FPGA, DSP, microprocessors, memory, and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, SERDES, DDR).


• Design and review mixed-signal hardware (analog and high/low-speed digital).


• Architect power tree design and system control logic.


• Perform and oversee signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis and simulations.


• Lead schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and hardware bring-up activities.


• Conduct hardware validation, verification, and compliance testing (EMI/EMC, environmental).


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across software, FPGA, mechanical, and manufacturing.


• Support manufacturing, test development, and lifecycle/obsolescence management.


• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging FPGA, DSP, and processor technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (PhD is a plus).


• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in hardware system design and architecture.


• Strong experience with FPGA/DSP/microprocessor-based systems.


• Expertise in high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, SERDES, DDR, etc.).


• Experience with signal integrity and power integrity simulation tools.


• Proven background in mixed-signal board design and hardware validation.


• Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance and regulatory standards.


• Experience in telecom, secure communications, defense, or high-reliability systems preferred.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
