Global Head of Sales - Dubai or Abu Dhabi based
A dynamic and innovative technology company is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Global Head of Sales to lead its worldwide sales initiatives.
This individual will be responsible for driving significant growth, expanding market presence, and maximizing profitability across key regions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the technology or telecommunications sector and the ability to navigate complex global markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention targets.
- Successfully manage and achieve annual revenues in the range of USD 50–75 million, with potential exposure up to USD 100 million in the future.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Manage and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, with a strong focus on improving overall profitability.
- Drive sales of advanced business assurance, fraud management, and AI-driven solutions to a global client base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including C-level executives and major decision-makers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, collaborating with other departments like marketing and product development to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the planning and execution of major industry events, such as Mobile World Congress (MWC), to showcase solutions and generate new business
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the technology, telecom, or software industries.
- Must be currently managing a portfolio of a minimum of USD $30 million.
- Demonstrated strong track record of selling telecom BSS to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Communication Service Providers (CSPs) based in EMEA and APAC.
- Experience managing large, distributed sales teams across Europe, UK, APAC, Africa, and the Middle East.
- Ability to drive P&L and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
- Proven experience in strong representation at global telco events such as MWC and other digital forums.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Presales, Product Line Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Possesses strong, well-established relationships with CXOs and CIOs.
- Deep understanding of telecommunications, software solutions, AI applications, and digital transformation trends.
- Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting, budget management, and market trend analysis.
- Experience in business assurance, fraud management, or AI-based solutions is a plus.
