This is an opportunity for a skilled Full Stack PHP Developer who enjoys building scalable, well-engineered solutions across multiple industries. You’ll work in an agile environment alongside experienced developers, designers, QA, and product specialists, delivering projects from concept through to live launch.
The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the UK and client sites as required.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack solutions while contributing to team collaboration, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing clean, efficient, and testable PHP and JavaScript code
- Building and maintaining applications using Laravel and Vue.js
- Developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Collaborating in peer reviews and agile sprint cycles
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements
- Managing workload and communicating progress clearly
- Contributing to documentation and best-practice development processes
- Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
What We’re Looking For
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- PHP (Laravel), Vue.js, RESTful APIs, MySQL, PestPHP
- Experience with version control tools (GitHub)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong time-management and delivery focus
Desirable:
- Exposure to DevOps fundamentals, security, and performance optimisation best practices
Background:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in fast-paced delivery environments (agency or product teams)
- Evidence of professional and/or personal development projects
