Freight & Logistics Manager – Manufacturing | Post Falls, ID or Remote US



About the Role

A global technology manufacturer with a long history of delivering high-reliability products is seeking a Freight & Logistics Manager to oversee inbound transportation and logistics operations. This role is central to ensuring cost-efficient, on-time delivery of materials that support production across U.S. facilities.





Primary Responsibilities




  • Lead end-to-end transportation logistics planning across road, air, and sea shipments.

  • Apply and manage Incoterms to ensure seamless international transactions and predictable material flow.

  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and manage all documentation associated with cross-border shipments.

  • Navigate international customs requirements to ensure timely and disruption-free product movement.

  • Manage performance, service levels, and pricing with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers.

  • Drive freight cost optimization by analyzing consolidation opportunities, routing improvements, and transportation modes while upholding service standards.

  • Maintain comprehensive logistics documentation and support internal/external freight and trade compliance audits.





Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant logistics or transportation experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, import/export regulations, and international freight processes.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions.

  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support logistics and supplier operations.

$90k - $115k base salary + bonus DOE
