Flying Engineer

Job Title: Field Technical Support Engineer / Flying Engineer 

Location: Paris, France

Job Responsibilities:

1. Act as the technical representative for OBC products, addressing/responding to technical inquiries raised by OEMs.
2. Support the R&D team in clarifying requirements (covering HW, SW, Functional Safety, and others) with OEMs during the RFQ and development phases.
3. Provide OBC technical support to customers with remote team assistance, demonstrating strong capability in vehicle testing, CAN log analysis, software updates, hardware electronic component modifications, and issue analysis.
4. Be familiar with OEM quality processes, collaborating on failure analysis management and driving follow-up on failure issues.
5. Be available to travel at short notice to customer sites across Europe to resolve customer production and after-sales quality issues.
6. Possess strong communication skills/commercial awareness, building and maintaining excellent customer relationships with OEMs while gaining a deep understanding of specific customer and market needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Power Electronics or Automotive Engineering. Fluency in English or French is required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in either switch-mode power supply failure analysis or switch-mode power supply R&D. Experience with vehicle chargers (OBC) and server power supply maintenance or testing is required.
