Position Overview
The Finance Manager will play a key role in providing analytical, planning, and financial management support across all U.S. finance functions. This position supports manufacturing, supply chain, treasury, payroll, tax, compliance, and financial systems activities. The role is based at the Post Falls, ID facility and offers the opportunity to influence strategic, operational, and financial decision-making across the business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial results, trends, and key performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed cost, margin, and profitability analyses by product, customer, and business unit.
- Track and explain variances between standard cost and actual cost, including purchase price, production, labor, and overhead drivers.
- Monitor, track, and report inventory levels, valuation, turns, and excess & obsolete inventory.
- Support sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluation, and make-vs-buy decisions through detailed financial modeling.
- Develop and enhance financial models, templates, and reporting tools to support improved business visibility.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives including cost-reduction programs, capital projects, system implementations, and long-range planning.
- Assist leadership in identifying risks, opportunities, and trends impacting business performance.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role; manufacturing experience ideal.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational capability.
