The Role
You will lead and deliver the electrical engineering scope on mission critical data centre projects, owning power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear and electrical safety compliance from design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end to end electrical scope including HV/LV power distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators and associated systems
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, construction, operations) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, vendors) to keep the project aligned
- Oversee project timelines, milestones and deliverables using project management tools
- Ensure adherence to electrical engineering best practices, local codes and international safety standards (NFPA, NEC, IEEE)
- Manage subcontractors and drive quality, safety and productivity on site
- Track project costs, approve invoices and manage change orders
- Conduct site visits, status meetings and coordinate testing and commissioning activities
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and project reports
- Provide technical expertise to resolve electrical issues and propose improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 8+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally on data centre or mission critical projects
- Expert knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution, UPS, generators and switchgear
- Familiarity with local codes and international standards
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera or similar)
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable design practices
- Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills
- Willingness to work on site and travel as required
- Previous experience in fast growing, international environments
- Fluent English and Spanish (essential)
