EHS Inspector

Position: EHS Inspector– Telecom Services

Location: Bloemfontein , East London and Port Elizabeth 

Duration: 3-4 Month Contract

Our global telecommunications client is looking for an experienced EHS Coordinator to lead and support Environment, Health, and Safety initiatives across high-risk telecom projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Champion EHS strategy and foster a strong safety culture across all stakeholders.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead internal and external EHS audits and support compliance validation.
• Promote incident reporting and support root cause analysis for high-risk events.
• Deliver internal training, toolbox talks, and updates on emerging risks.
• Support senior management with EHS-related duties across projects and regions.

What You Bring:

• A degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Experience with ISO 14001/45001 audits.
• 2+ years of EHS experience, ideally in high-risk environments (e.g., working at height, construction).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and inspire safe practices across teams and contractors.
• Awareness of construction hazards (e.g., asbestos).
• Proactive, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
